Avanex supports the protection of international human rights. Our products are manufactured in safe working environments and no abusive or exploitative conditions or practices exist at any of our facilities.

  • Wages: Avanex offers competitive wages and benefits within the industry. Avanex will always pay at least the minimum wage required by law and provide legally mandated benefits.
  • Working Hours: Avanex does not require employees to work more than the maximum number of hours allowed in a day, according to local laws.
  • Forced Labor: Avanex uses no forced, indentured, bonded or prison labor in the production of its products.
  • Child Labor: Avanex complies with local labor laws concerning minimum age requirements and does not employ child labor.
  • Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity: Avanex gives all applicants for employment equal consideration and gives employees equal opportunity for training, promotion, transfer or job assignment, regardless of their race, color, sex, age, marital status, religious creed, national origin, physical or mental disability, medical condition including genetic characteristics, sexual orientation, or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local laws. All such discrimination is unlawful.

In addition, Avanex does not and will not tolerate partnerships with vendors, distributors or suppliers that violate labor laws of the country where the products are manufactured.
