Vice President of Human
Resources
Ken E. Johnson joined Avanex on November
27, 2007. He is responsible for providing
leadership in the planning, development,
implementation and administration of
Avanex’ worldwide human resource
functions.
Mr. Johnson brings over 20 years of
experience in human resources with
demonstrated leadership in managing
company workforces throughout diverse
business cycles. Prior to joining Avanex,
Mr. Johnson served as Executive Vice
President of Human Resources at Placer
Sierra Bancshares, where he led personnel
though the IPO process, acquisitions,
and created metrics to identify workforce
trends resulting in reduced employee
turnover and increased growth objectives.
Mr. Johnson also served in several
roles at Spectra-Physics Lasers, Inc.,
including Vice President of Human Resources
where his efforts led to evolve the
organization from survival mode to
one of sustained growth with new market
opportunities.
Mr. Johnson began his career at Pacific
Gas & Electric Company as a Human
Resources Representative, providing
a full scope of HR services.
Mr. Johnson Received a B.S. in Business
Administration at San Jose State University
and a M.B.A. at Notre Dame de Namur. |
